The PhD students of the Food Physics group are organizing a trip to Japan from April 10 to 23, 2010.
This trip is intended as an experience with scientific, cultural and social aspects. It is an opportunity for PhD students to get in contact with colleagues from another part of the world and exchange experiences. Also we intend to increase and exchange knowledge, establish new contacts and explore future collaborations.
During the trip we will be visiting companies, research institutes and universities. We plan to give presentations about our research and listen to presentations given by the groups we’re visiting. We hope to have ample time for informal discussions.
The group will consist of seven PhD students and four staff members (Prof. Dr. E. van der Linden, Asst. Prof. Dr. L.M.C. Sagis, Asst. Prof. Dr. E. Scholten and Asst. Prof. Dr. P. Venema)
